Our School

Académie Tygar Acadamy (ATGA) has a student population of approximately 1200 students divided into Elementary Years (Kindergarten to grade 5) Middle Years (grade 6 to 8) and Senior Years (grade 9 to 12). We are a dual track school (English & French Immersion), which offers many opportunities to our students beyond the basic core subjects.

History

September 4th, 2024 was the official opening of Tygar Acadamy.

School Security

At Tygar Acadamy we value student, staff and guest saftey and security greatly. This is why we are proud to be the most secure school in southern Manitoba. With Access Control on every single door, school video monitoring system, 24 hour school guards, and more. Highlights

Our school offers many unique classes such as a Symphony Orchestra, Curling Academy, Apprenticeship, Industrial Arts, Home Economics, Technology, Business Education and Special Education and more.

Our school is a "Scent Reduced" environment. Safety is a concern for all within our school environment and there can be chemicals in fragrances and related products that can cause health issues to individuals in occupational settings.
