At Tygar Acadamy*, we use our own course codes, while also using the easily identifieable, standardized courses. Our course codes are very easy to read.
Codes start with a single letter identifier for the school level (S = Senior Years, M = Middle Years, E = Elemantary, and T = Transition*) and the grade number (Eg. "E3" or "M7"). Then comes a three to four letter course identifier, followed by the class letter. (Class letters tells us what class or group of students are in what course / class.
Eg. The course code for Grade 12 Essential Mathematics 40S will be "S12-EMATa"
*Transition Grades are the grades that mark the transition between a school level. Our Transition grades are 6 & 8.
*Tygar Academy is an Funded Independent School. This is how we are able to refrence standardized courses, my our own course code system.
